I attended Worldpay’s Rethink event in Lisbon last week, and I have to say it was a great experience! The event brought together everyone from customers to industry experts to dig into what’s happening in the world of payments.

For us at Open Payments it was especially exciting to see the spotlight on payouts as it’s a big part of what we do. It’s always nice to get confirmation that we’re on the right track.

The event itself was packed with useful insights, and you could tell a lot of thought had gone into the different sessions. It was all very inspiring as we got to share ideas, learn from each other and connect with people who are helping to drive change.

One of the highlights for me was sitting down with John McNaught, Worldpay’s Head of Payouts, for a fireside chat. We talked about our partnership and how Worldpay and Open Payments have worked together to create a B2B cross-border payment solution that really makes a difference. Close collaboration, and the fact that our platforms fit so well together, helped us launch something that we’re truly proud of.

It’s partnerships like this that make the job fun. Having our teams working close together to solve real challenges, that’s what it’s all about.
